Sometimes life hurts. And we've found that we don't get to miss out on the pains of life just because we go to church. That's why Care Ministry is here to help.

DivorceCare 4 Kids

Some children struggle with separation and divorce, while others seem to bounce back quickly. But in the long run, all children are affected. DivorceCare for Kids (for children 5-12) will help minimize the negative effects of divorce on a child’s schoolwork, emotional health, and spiritual life. Sew Blessed

This ministry features a group of volunteers who create special quilts for people in critical need of prayer. Thread is used to take stitches through the quilt layers and the ends are left free to be tied in a knot. As each knot is tied, a prayer is offered for someone in need; then, the quilt is given to that person. Each week, there are prayer quilts awaiting your prayers at the Sew Blessed table following weekend services.

If you enjoy quilting or sewing, or wish to learn, volunteers are encouraged to join us in this ministry. We meet the 2nd and 4th Monday of each month, 3 - 9 p.m. in building B, room 103.

Do you wish to request a quilt for someone in need of prayer? Find out more here.
